What if I do not appear in Court on the date set for my arraignment or trial?
A warrant may be issued for your arrest. If a warrant is issued, you will be required to post bond or be taken to jail and required to remain in jail until the next earliest court date. You may also be required to pay a fee when a warrant is issued and you may be required to pay for the cost of your lodging in jail. In some instances the Judge may order that you post a "cash" bond instead of a "surety bond" from an approved bondsman or bonds-woman.
