The City of Poplar Bluff will hold a public hearing on Monday, December 18, at 6:45 pm to discuss the submission of an application to FEMA Building Resilient Infrastructure & Communities (BRIC) Grant Program. The City of Poplar Bluff is interested in obtaining all citizens’ input on community development needs within the region. Local participation is needed to reflect the true desires of the region, as well as comments relating to the proposed project application. The State has established a maximum application request for each funding category.
The City of Poplar Bluff will be applying for funds to drill and install a new well near the water storage tank on Alice Street. The total project cost is estimated at $1.3 million dollars.
